Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

https://i-learn.ipem.org/

Please read the responses to these common questions before posting a question.

For How to use i-Learn click here

1. I dont know my ward's Student ID: In case you don’t know your wards ID (Admission Number) click on ‘forgot admission number’ to get the ID (Admission Number) on your registered mobile.

2. Not getting the OTP: Sometimes due to congession in the SMS gateway the OTP gets delayed. Now the school is also sending the OTP to the parents email address. Students should not click on logout if they are using their own or their parents mobile or PC, and simply close the window to avoid needing OTP each time.
Students will also continue to receive important notifications if they DONT logout. Logout Option should be ONLY used if you are using a shared / public computer/mobile. Eg Cyber cafe or friend's Mobile.

3. I dont have a book and shops are closed? During the lockdown each assignment PDF file will  also contain the related scanned chapter and worksheets so students dont need the book at all. Please scroll down and see the entire assigment.

4. I dont have a school copy: Please use any copy to complete the assignment

5. How to submit the AssignmentAll students are to complete their assignment in any copy and write their Name & Class & Sec. on top. Then use an app like Clear Scanner & create a single compact PDF file (with multiple pages, preferably in black & white)  & upload it in i-learn. The maximum size permissible is 2 MB. Students are to ensure the assignment has all the pages in it. Students can use a free mobile app from playstore like Clear Scanner to convert the multiple images of handwritten pages into a single small PDF file and upload it.  Please watch this small youtube video made  to demonstrate how to scan a student assignment https://youtu.be/CCkk9roh_0c . Note:Due to new Government orders, we are now recommending  using the Clear Scanner App for scanning Assignments in place of CamScanner. It is easier & has the same functions. App Link . Other free websites to help you create pdf files are http://ilovepdf.com . Click on this video link  to see a Tutorial Video with a detailed explanation of the Upload feature:

5. How can I ask my teacher a Question: Students can ask their teachers questions directly which are related specifically to an assignment by clicking on the DISCUSS button. However students can only post questions related to an assignment before the last date of submission of the assignment and after that they can only view questions asked by other students earlier (before the last date).

6. Last Date of Submission: Assignments must be uploaded before the last date of submission.

8. Questions outside the scope of the Assignment: Questions outside the scope of the assignment and FAQ should be avoided, and will be answered after the school reopens. In case of a pressing need if a student wants to ask a question outside the scope of the assignment he/she can email such a question directly to the subject teacher concerned, and if the teacher gets time he/she will respond.

9. I have two children studying how can I use i-Learn:In case you have more than one child studying at IPEM International School you can select the ‘Add Another Student’ option and add your second/third child to i-Learn. This button is given just above the logout button. The advantage of  adding your second child to the i-learn panel is that you wont have to each time logout and re-login with OTP for each child. You can simply switch between assignments pages of all your wards, without having to login seperately for each child everytime with OTP

IPEM International School Launches its i-Learn Online Learning Portal
https://i-learn.ipem.org/

The global outbreak of the Novel Corona Virus (COVID – 19) has impacted every single aspect of human life, with disruption to school life being no exception. Hence IPEM International School decided to ensure that even if the classroom has stopped education shouldn’t, and there should be no quarantine to learning.

IPEM International School has therefore launched its new i-learn portal, which is fully integrated with its school management ERP. Students can now securely and efficiently access the i-Learn platform using any internet device. i-Learn allows students to watch video lessons, download pdf chapters of books, assignments, worksheets and submit them as well. They will soon be given online tests via this platform. Using the i-learn platform students will be able to communicate with their subject teachers via email and instant messaging. On the other hand teachers will be able to use the platform to give assignments, worksheets, load video lessons, give tests and send messages via SMS and push web notifications to both students and parents.

The software has been designed especially keeping in mind that internet bandwidth and reliability can vary in different areas of the city, and that students do not lose out due to temporary disruption of internet services or speed drops. The i-Learn platform has been jointly developed by Dr. S.D.Liddle and Mr. Gaurav Agarwal along with his technical team at Cyber Networks Prayagraj.

Letter to our IPEM Parents
Friday, 3 Apr 2020 12:12

Dear Parents,

Greetings from IPEM International School & College! At the onset, we would like to convey our heartiest congratulations to you, and your ward for being promoted to a higher level of learning.

The institution envisages an all round and balanced education based on sound intellectual, physical, moral and social formation. The aim is to make students erudite, patriotic, law abiding and ceaselessly seek excellence with deep concern for the well-being of the entire universe based on our motto “Educating for life ". We wish that whatever the students learn from us will enable them to stand in good stead in every situation. It will guide and make their life successful and happy.

As we face the challenge of coping with the threat of corona virus and follow the guidelines issued by the government from time to time to tide over it, we are working constantly to gainfully engage your ward and keep him/her occupied meaningfully. Ever since the school closed down as per the Govt. orders to maintain social distancing, we have been ceaselessly working from home, in order to start the new academic session, virtually online. A schedule for each class has already been prepared by the teachers. Online classes, study links and assignments will be provided for all classes via our in-house i-Learn platform, which we will be launching today (Apr 3, 2020). You are requested to be with your child and monitor them to cope with the studies. Teachers will be available to answer all the queries.

We request you to not be disheartened at this time, but accept this as a God sent opportunity to closely spend quality time with your children and watch all their activities. Foster empathy, honesty, self-reliance, self-control, kindness, cooperation and cheerfulness in them. Discuss with them how important it is to follow the law and order to maintain a safer world for everyone. Children look up to their parents and typically imitate things that they see them doing on a daily basis. So teach your kids the importance of cleaning the trash; not littering; being kind to trees, plants and other living things and doing their bit by helping out in the daily chores and activities of the household. Be mindful of the things that you say and do while you are with your children, as they observe and emulate each and every little thing that their parents do, especially if they are breaking the rules.

We request you to be law-abiding citizens and role model parents; because learning starts at home. As parents, we implore you to guide your child on the right track as you have always been doing. This will ensure success later in life.

We are hopeful and positive that your personal care, cooperation and nurturing will go a long way in shaping a bright future of your ward.

Stay home, stay healthy.

Dr. S.D.Liddle                 Mrs. Serene Liddle
Principal                         Additional Director
